Queen Creek is a town in Maricopa and Pinal counties. As of July 2019, Queen Creek's population is estimated to be 50,890.
From the post office form on file at the National Archives, Queen Creek was originally known as Rittenhouse, the community growing up out of a railroad stop.
In 1919 the Queen Creek Farms Company was formed by C. H. Rittenhouse, constructing that railroad stop to ship the goods from the farm.

San Tan Mountain Regional Park
Consisting of over 10,000 acres, the southeast Valley park is a fine example of the lower Sonoran Desert. The park ranges in elevation from about 1,400 feet to over 2,500 feet.
Goldmine Mountain
Located in the northern area, with a spectacular San Tan Mountain escarpment in the southern portion of the park, the vegetation changes from creosote flats to dense saguaro forest. Various types of wildlife may be observed, including reptiles, birds, and mammals. Amenities are slated for future development.
Splash Pad at Founders Park
On the opposite side of Queen Creek, you will find the Splash Pad at Founders’ Park across from town hall. Over 4,000 square feet, the splash pad features various above-ground water features. Enjoy the newly built shade structures while the kids play.
